What is it that brings you life or life force? How is that related to a deeper sense of ‘joy’ and how does that translate through or from the body in movement?
A two hour creative exploration, online,  open to people with or without disability that cultivates a common ground of practices, group discussions and reflections through movement.
The first online session focuses on exploring and celebrating the essence of joy in our lives. An opportunity to connect, share, and inspire one another through creativity, movement, and reflection. The workshop focuses on the concept of life force—what it means to each of us, how it manifests in our bodies, and how we can cultivate it in our everyday lives. Together, we engage in creative practices that allow us to express our thoughts, feelings, and experiences of joy, ultimately fostering a deeper connection among all participants.

How does rhythm translate from movement to sound to shape? How does rhythm communicate? Can we think of rhythm as an intelligence?
A two hour creative exploration, online,  open to people with or without disability that cultivates a common ground of practices, group discussions and reflections through movement.
Our second online workshop focuses on exploring the notion of rhythm through different perspectives and practices and how rhythm travels across modalities, perceptabilities and art practices. How does rhythm develop through repetition, how does movement propel rhythm and how does rhythm inspire life and development of variability in movement. More specifically the workshop studies and plays with how rhythm carries information about how something moves and vice versa how movements carry information about rhythms. We play with how we can think through rhythm and create stories and movement compositions through rhythm.

This workshop is designed to ignite creativity, foster connections, and laughter! We will work to activate an innocent, playful and curious presence.   To explore humor through physicality, to practice dealing with the unknown, and to re-grow and share playfulness and creativity through clowning.
Online Workshop leader Vitoria Kotsalou.
Online Workshop guest teacher Nadia Kavoulatou.
